Seribu Islands Need More Bank DKI ATM

The increasing number of non-cash transactions in Seribu Islands has made Bank DKI to provide better service the residents. Until now, there are only six outlets of Bank DKI ATM in the island.

Seribu Islands Regency Secretary, Ismer Harahap admitted his side has coordinated with Bank DKI for additional ATM outlet.

"Until now, there are only six ATM machines. I have coordinated with Bank DKI and revealed ready three times, but there has been no realization, whereas it is very important," he expressed, Thursday (6/30).

Bank DKI Adds 400 ATM Machines

In details, those ATM machines are located in Pramuka, Untung Jawa, Tidung, and Kelapa islands. The overload customer had happened during long holiday last May, where a long queue seen in Pramuka Island and money at an ATM runs out.

"The Internet in the island has been good, so there is no longer any reason about network for Bank DKI. Especially for Pramuka Island, we want the ATM machine to be added thus the apparatus in non-cash transactions more quickly," he said.

As known, money charging in ATM machine is only done once a week every Friday. But, sometimes, the overload happens when tourist visits and employee wants to take salary, yet Bank DKI does not charge money at ATMs that are empty.
